Global4Net at Magento conference in Poland

For 23-24 of November Poland organized first national Magento conference. This meeting was an opportunity to exchange experience and business contacts. The event was well prepared in terms of organization. Of course we took part in this special event. Different countries, including Germany, USA and even Ghana do not fall behind as they also made efforts to organize such a conference.

Participants had opportunity to learn about Magento implementation and optimization for search engines in practice cases beginning with the presenting ways of ensuring proper system version control during implementation, through the system itself, finishing on the usege of tools such as GIT

PayU, the Polish payment operator presented their new payment module. In our estimation improved module contains an attractive element to consider as the Magento software payment has still not been  finally improved.

The most intriguing part of the event was the meeting with Magento team members working on the development of second Magento version. They share further plans of the Magento’s improvement, including the prescription of almost every code largely based on jQuery. The new version will be faster and more intuitive for developers deployments. Additionally the second version is also to be established as a long-awaited full documentation of the system. We patiently wait for a new version, this may come at the end of the next year, tough.  

During the conference, developers have also the opportunity to pass Magento Certified Developer exam. As this conferention was the first one in Poland, we judge that the next ones are just a matter of time.
