Global4Net implemented B2B platform for Elmark
We are proud to present our next B2B realisation, this time for our partner, Elmark Automatyka, which is one of the leading suppliers of industrial automation system components and robotics on the Polish market. Despite almost 40 years of experience, Elmark is constantly adapting its offer in order to keep up or even stay ahead of technological trends. This approach was one of the reasons for starting our cooperation.
The scope of our activities included the implementation of a new website that combines the functionalities of a sales platform and a corporate website of the company. Thanks to these changes, the customer has the opportunity to get to know the offer and the values, characteristics, history and mission of Elmark. All the changes have a significant impact on the platform’s performance in almost every aspect – from website design, to additional marketing tools, to innovative back-end solutions. The challenge for us was to introduce functions that differed from standard implementations and required us to take a fresh approach to the task. Thanks to our experienced team and efficient communication with the client, we delivered a product that met all the requirements.
Advanced Search System
The search suggestions are given together with the price and the possibility to go to the product card, category or subcategory in which there are products related to the given phrase. Additionally, the search engine suggests articles from the blog related to the searched topic. The search engine is divided into a product part and a content part. The latter includes a blog module (dedicated to posts) and a training module (dedicated to seminars, tutorials and webinars). In this way, the website provides comprehensive knowledge and creates its own base, thanks to which the search engine ranks the entire shop higher due to consistent publication of large amounts of content, which is a valuable source of knowledge for potential customers. Our Client was very keen on easy, intuitive and fast access to this information.
E-offer
It is possible for the customer to save an offer with an automatic blocking of trading conditions for up to 2 weeks. This gives the user the opportunity to freeze the order with a preferential price (e.g. with an attractive exchange rate).
Order search engine
For logged-in users it is also possible to search for orders by product SKU, order number, customer order number, order date “from to” and by user login.
Mercantile credit
The customer has an opportunity to make purchases within an individually agreed limit of trade credit. Thanks to the deferred payment deadline, the customer can make the purchase and pay for the order at a convenient time without unnecessary formalities.
Individual prices
The discount policy is set on the side of Elmark’s ERP system and automatically adjusted to the shop’s offer. Additionally, it is possible to set a fixed price for a given product and give an additional discount by means of a discount code. Such a model allows for building a broad discount policy for the platform’s users.
The above examples are just a few of the changes we have implemented to the new Elmark website. Our work also consisted in optimising the purchase process and adding functionality for the “Customer Account”. Certainly, the challenge was the integration of several websites, previously forming an ecosystem of elmark.com.pl domain and ERP system. We are currently working further on the website and our next goal is to optimise the shop for the best possible results. All this to help Elmark realise its ambition, which is to create a B2B platform that will provide their customers with the highest quality services on the market.
