The success of the application is largely determined by its usability as well as the emotions and impressions that accompany users when using its individual functions (user experience). Attention to detail, quality of workmanship, as well as the very ergonomics of e-commerce implementations have become a prerequisite for functioning in the world of modern technologies.

“User experience design” is often used interchangeably with terms such as “UI design” and “Usability”. However, while usability and user interface (UI) design are important aspects of UX design, they are subsets of it – UX design covers a wide variety of other areas as well.

A UX designer handles the entire product sourcing and integration process, including aspects of branding, design, usability, and features. It is a multidisciplinary field – UX designers come from a variety of backgrounds such as visual design, programming, psychology and interaction design.

Designing for users also means working with an increased range of accessibility and reconciling the many physical limitations of potential users, such as reading small text.

Empathization and problem definition

Paulina Tymoszuk

PM of UX/UI team

In G4N I deal with (in terms of organization and management) the UX/UI department and I run 3 internal projects. I manage meetings, deal with the jira of teams and assign tasks. I make sure that everyone has something to do, but also is not overwhelmed with work. I try to make the work of teams (as far as possible) as organized as possible. I am always here to help and will be happy to answer any questions.

Dominika Wójcik

UX designer

My position is a UX Designer but also a mentor of the UX/UI department. I conduct workshops, occasionally research or audits, design from low-fi to high-fi mockups. I don’t really deal with tasks like DTP or logo preparation – for me the UX background is stronger. I am also responsible for design processes, introducing new design phases, task evaluation, technical recruitment of designers, employee feedback.

Bartosz Grzeszkowiak

UX/UI designer

Currently, in G4N I deal with broadly understood UI/UX, preparing usability audits and digital creations. I am happy to support the team in print-related tasks, opening up the world of Indesign.

Małgorzata Furtak-Cychowska

UX/UI designer

I try to make my position very diverse, to have knowledge in a wide range, to be a reserve in case someone is missing, and to reconcile UX / UI design with the requirements of programmers and prove that a designer and a programmer can get along. I have experience mainly in ux and ui e-commerce in preparation for printing, sometimes I do simple web animations and logos. I also draw if necessary.
