One of the sales leaders in the electronics and household appliances industry, which offers a comprehensive package of services related to sales in online and stationary shops. Currently, it has almost 300 shops across Poland and an online shop that serves more than 4,000,000 users per month. We have been partners since 2015 and since then we have managed to implement more than a dozen projects from different areas – from PWA to module integration. Our goal is that Neonet is always well optimized and performs perfectly even during the highest customer traffic. The success of their shop has been recognized and awarded in competitions such as Consumer Laurel, Trusted Opinions and Highest Quality.
Goals
Continuous support
Access to new plugins and no problems with their integration and updates has allowed us to implement new solutions faster without the need to create dedicated plugins and extensions.
Lower optimization costs
Keeping costs low by using solutions supported by Magento.
Since June 2020, Magento 1 is no longer a supported platform by Adobe. A manufacturer is no longer releasing security patches and will no longer introduce any innovative solutions. These will be ported to M2. Magento 2 uses the latest technologies as the LAMP, Apache/Nginx MySql, PHP – all in the latest versions. It will all use the latest techniques such as database collection, full page caching, performance monitoring via New Relic, Blackfire.io, WYSIWIG CMS page building, extended reporting via Magento Business Intelligence and Magento Shopping. Magento 2 will also use PWA technology in Magento PWA Studio.
Phase 1: Before migration
Firstly, we reviewed the data and the content of the website to find out how much work is needed to be done. Then we prepared the project specification, its outline along with the main milestones and deadlines for each phase of the project.
Phase 2: Migration
We set up a test environment, moving Magento 2 to the new server. Then we successively moved themes, extensions, plugins, data and content.
Phase 3: After migration
We synchronized order history and customer data to ensure a smooth transition from Magento 1 to Magento 2.
Migration
to a supported version of Magento.
No downtime
in shop operation.
Trouble-free operation
thanks to using the latest plugins and compatible extensions with Magento 2.
